Chinese Humanoid Robot A2 Walks 66 Miles to Shanghai — Sets New Guinness World Record

AgiBot’s Humanoid Robot Breaks Guinness World Record After Walking 66 Miles Non-Stop to Shanghai.

In an incredible milestone for robotics, Chinese tech company AgiBot has officially entered the Guinness World Records after its humanoid robot, A2, completed a stunning 66-mile (106 km) continuous walk from Jiangsu Province to Shanghai.
This achievement marks a major leap in humanoid robot endurance, mobility, and real-world navigation.

A2 Walks 66 Miles in 24 Hours — A New Guinness World Record.

A2 began its journey at the scenic Jinji Lake in Jiangsu and completed the trek at Shanghai’s Bund, one of China’s most iconic waterfronts.

The entire walk took 24 hours non-stop, showcasing the robot’s ability to handle:

  • Busy pedestrian zones

  • Tiled pavements

  • Asphalt roads

  • Bridges

  • Real-world traffic and unpredictable obstacles

AgiBot confirmed that A2 followed all traffic laws during the journey, further proving its potential for safe urban navigation.

A Robot With Personality: “I Might Need New Shoes!”

After completing the marathon-like trek, the humanoid robot even interacted with reporters.

In a humorous moment, A2 said it might now “need a new pair of shoes.”
This small display of personality makes the robot feel more relatable and showcases AgiBot's advanced conversational AI.

A Milestone for the Future of Robotics

AgiBot’s success with A2 pushes the boundaries of what humanoid robots can achieve.

With this Guinness record, China strengthens its position in the global race toward advanced autonomous robotics.
Where will A2 walk next?

The world will now be watching closely.
